Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the HOPPRYDE platform, website, and mobile application (collectively "the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the Service.

HOPPRYDE offers a ride-booking platform connecting passengers with reliable transportation services. Our goal is to provide seamless, safe, and efficient travel experiences for all users.

1. Definitions

  • "HOPPRYDE"

    Refers to our company, platform, website, and mobile application.

  • "User"

    Refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Service.

  • "Driver"

    Refers to any individual providing transportation services through the HOPPRYDE platform.

  • "Passenger"

    Refers to any individual receiving transportation services through the HOPPRYDE platform.

  • "Service"

    Refers to the HOPPRYDE platform, website, and mobile application.

  • "Booking"

    Refers to the reservation of transportation services made through the HOPPRYDE platform.

2. User Accounts

To use our Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. Any user under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent and supervision while using the Service.

3. Booking and Cancellation

Users can book transportation services through the HOPPRYDE platform. The following conditions apply:

  • All bookings are subject to driver availability
  • Prices shown are estimates and may vary based on factors such as traffic, waiting time, and route changes
  • Cancellation fees may apply depending on when the cancellation is made
  • HOPPRYDE reserves the right to refuse service to any user who violates these terms
Cancellation Policy:
  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before scheduled pickup

    No charges will be applied for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

  • No-show

    A fee of 100% of the total booking cost will be charged if the passenger fails to show up at the pickup location.

4. Driver Requirements

Drivers providing services through the HOPPRYDE platform must meet and maintain the following requirements:

  • Valid driver's license

    Must possess a valid driver's license for the jurisdiction in which they operate

  • Vehicle insurance

    Must maintain appropriate commercial insurance coverage as required by law

  • Background check

    Must pass a comprehensive background check before approval

  • Vehicle standards

    Vehicle must meet all safety and comfort standards set by HOPPRYDE

  • Professional conduct

    Must maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times

HOPPRYDE reserves the right to suspend or terminate a driver's access to the platform for failing to meet these requirements or for receiving consistent negative feedback from passengers.

5. Payment Terms

By using our Service, you agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your account. Payment terms include:

  • All payments must be made through the HOPPRYDE platform
  • Prices may include service fees, booking fees, and any applicable taxes
  • Users are responsible for any additional charges incurred during the journey
  • HOPPRYDE reserves the right to change pricing at any time
  • Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy
Accepted Payment Methods:

We accept various payment methods including major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and other digital payment methods specified in the application. All payment information is securely processed through PCI-compliant payment processors.

6. User Conduct

Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the Service. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Post false or misleading content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service

Additionally, passengers are expected to be at the pickup location at the scheduled time. Passengers should treat drivers with respect and maintain appropriate behavior during the journey.

7. Liability Limitations

HOPPRYDE is not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Any damage to property or personal injury arising from your use of the Service
  • Any actions or conduct of drivers or other users of the Service
  • Service disruptions or unavailability

In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing or using the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding your claim.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of HOPPRYDE and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of HOPPRYDE.

9. Modification of Terms

HOPPRYDE reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes. If you do not agree with any of the modified terms, you should discontinue your use of the Service.

10. Termination

HOPPRYDE reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts located within the jurisdiction where HOPPRYDE is headquartered.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.

By using our Service, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
